Department of Radiology, University Hospital "Marques de Valdecilla," Liencres (Cantabria), Spain A case of false aneurysm of the posterior tibial artery complicating a tibial fracture in a 19-year-old man is reported. The diagnosis of false aneurysm was made by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and confirmed posteriorly by magnetic resonance angiography (MRA). No MRA image of false aneurysm of the posterior tibial artery has been, to the authors' knowledge, previously reported.
