Ruptured Internal Iliac Artery AneurysmA Case Report
Department of Surgery, University College London Medical School, The Middlesex Hospital, London, England A patient with a ruptured internal iliac artery aneurysm who presented with acute urinary retention and tenesmus is described. Obliterative aneurysmorrhaphy was performed, and thrombus in the sac was removed and an in-situ drain was placed in the sac. The patient's urinary symptoms resolved postoperatively.
