Department of Surgery, University of Sydney, and the Repatriation General Hospital, Concord, New South Wales, Australia Vascular clamp application to the abdominal aorta is rarely reported to have any clinical traumatic effects. The authors report the delayed presentation of a false aneurysm secondary to vascular clamp placement on the suprarenal aorta. The effects of vascular clamp application are also reviewed.
