Primary Aortofemoral Bypass by Way of the Obturator Foramen: An Alternative Procedure for Femoral Sepsis Associated with an Irradiated Pelvis

An aortofemoral bypass by way of the obturator foramen was successfully completed with use of a 6-mm polytetrafluoroethylene graft. A twenty-four-year-old woman with a radiated groin for reticular cell lymphoma arrived at a community hospital with spontaneous hemorrhage. Following resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer, the patient was operated on.
