Vascular Unit, Beilinson Medical Center, Petah Tiqva and Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine, Petah Tiqva Israel A case of internal iliac artery aneurysm is described. Overlooking this possi bility primarily, as the authors did because of its uncommon location, may lead to hazardous clinical deterioration. Therefore, when otherwise unexplained retroperitoneal bleeding occurs, the rare cause of ruptured internal iliac aneu rysm should be considered as a possibility and explored accordingly.
