Situs Inversus and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm — A Case ReportRoyal Victoria Hospital, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Guthrie Medical Center, Sayre, Pennsylvania Situs inversus is an uncommon condition that produces a "mirror-image" of the thoracic and abdominal viscera. The authors report a case of successful resection of an abdominal aortic aneurysm in a patient with situs inversus and briefly discuss technical pitfalls of the operation.
