Department of Surgery B, Rambam Medical Center and the Faculty of Medicine, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel Arteriovenous fistulas complicating the use of balloon catheters for thrombectomy and embolectomy are rare. A case is reported with such an iatrogenic complication in an as yet unpublished location: the brachial artery. The desired management is discussed.
