Cattedra di Chirurgia Vascolare Policlinic S. Orsola Via Massarenti, 9 40138 Bologna, Italy Fibro-muscular dysplasia (FMD) is a rare lesion of the subclavian artery. We report the description of histologic and ultrastructural findings in a white young man. The associated aneurysm is a natural complication of FMD. After the resec tion of the pathologic artery and end-to-end anastomosis a rethrombosis can develop.
