Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Helsinki University Central Hospital, Helsinki, Finland A case of intermittent claudication in a young otherwise healthy non-smoker caused by cystic adventitial disease of the popliteal artery is presented. Other possible causes of calf claudication in a young non-smoker as well as etiology, clinical findings and modes of operative treatment are discussed.
